Don’t panic if your Christmas Shopping isn’t completed yet! It’s okay to still be thinking of presents for others or alternatively a list to give to a loved one! Heck, I only finished my shopping today so I’m not one for judging last minute shoppers. It can be difficult to find the time to actively get into town to purchase your gifts but never fear as the internet is here! (Cheesy I know…) Within the last few days of standard delivery guidelines arriving for Christmas Day, I’ve put together a handy online shopping guide to speed the process up. Hope it helps!
Girls love comfort. They may waffle on about how their goal in life is to always look glam and sophisicated (which don’t get me wrong, we want to), but as soon as we’re back home after a long day out in the real world, we crave the comforting feel that our favourite t-shirts and fluffy slippers grant us with. Therefore, a gift guide is not complete without a large section consisting of items to wear and appreciate in the warmth and love of your own home.
This adorable cosy jumper from Topshop is everything a girl could want in a jumper. It’s a soft but flattering style in the ultimate winter colour staple; berry. It also hints at the 70’s trend that is currently in fashion but without the fear of it becoming overpowed with the fluted sleeves. It can be worn with your favourite pair of ripped jeans or even tucked into a skirt for a more feminine feel.
These footless tights from Urban Outfitters sound like a dream. Faux fur lining? That means warmth, comfort but overall, no longer see through! It’s a win, win situation if you ask me.
This scarf from River island is perfect for keeping her warm in the winter as it can be wrapped up tightly around her neck, but then it can still be worn in spring as a loose accessory to complement her outfit. The tartan features a bold red with burgundy, black and white throughout meaning it can be paired with lots of different outfits.
Victoria’s Secret best selling fragrance: Bombshell. Prepare to be reminded of the warmth that summer brings with this fruity little eau de parfum. Feminine and sweet, it is the perfect essence that will delight the senses with memories of laying on a hot, sandy beach until it is indeed that time of year to re-live it yourself.
What’s better for relaxing and unwinding after a long day than a bubble bath? This little star of a bath bomb releases beautiful vanilla and rosewood aromas and better yet, it creates bubbles. It’s the perfect little stocking filler that she will enjoy to relax and pamper herself after the enviable amount of partying throughout the festive season.
A little pampering never hurt no-body. Gift’s don’t need to be extravagant and expensive, this little stocking filler by Lottie is bound to leave her feeling like a mermaid from the duo-technology of blue, purple and green tones within the nail polish. Adorable!
But of course, we cannot forget that Christmas is ‘the party season’ and so I’ve also put together some glamourous ideas, in which are suitable for a full night of sipping cocktails with friends (or dancing the night away, whichever you prefer.)
Let me introduce to you the ultimate party shoe. I personally, adore these lace up heels from Office and from experience they are the comfiest pair of heels I own! Perfect if worries of sore feet are present. They will go with anything so dance the night away in these beauties that are hugely on trend.
No outfit is complete without an embellished clutch back for the party season. This beautiful cream clutch embellished with silver sparkles by Ted Baker is the perfect accessory. A little bit of sparkle should always be added to ensure a confident, glamourous woman dancing the night away.
The ultimate confidence boost? A slick of a beautiful red lipstick. This Givenchy ‘Le Rouge Glace’ in the Christmas Collection is the most glamourous but long lasting colour. It’s smooth texture being applied to the lips leaves a well pigmented but still moist colour that means it wont dry out and leave your lips sticking together!
And of course, last but not least I could never forget about the LBD.
“One is never over-dressed or underdressed with a little black dress” – Karl Lagerfield of course!
Timeless and classy but with enough flesh on display to convey your playful side, this little black dress is the perfect material to stand out at any Christmas party. Teamed with the black lace up heels from earlier and volia. This particularly stunning dress is from Missguided and it’s definitely on my wish list!
